Olhos D'Agua

4 miles From Albufeira

Olhos D’Agua is a small resort and a working fishing village. Located between Albufeira and Vilamoura, it is less than 4 miles to Albufeira town centre, and less than 2 miles to the Albufeira “Strip”. Walking to the Strip is easy, taking less than half an hour.

Olhos D’Agua is a pretty and restful resort. Another very hospitable place to spend a holiday, it seems a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of Albufeira.

There is a nice beach, surrounded by cliffs populated with pine trees, which never gets over crowded even at the height of the summer season.

The village has a very nice promenade, with palm trees, and a good selection of bars and restaurants.

Holidaymakers staying in Albufeira should certainly visit this pretty resort. There are plenty of cheap taxis available, and a bus service from Albufeira

Vilamoura and Quarteria

Approx 7 miles from Albufeira

Vilamoura is only seven miles away from Albufeira. There is a regular bus service from Albufeira to Vilamoura and taxis are always available.

Vilamoura is virtually merged with the resort of Quarteira, with a little tourist train linking the two. It is also a very pleasant and easy walk.

Vilamoura is not a town or port, rather it is an enormous recreational centre, containing a Marina, world famous golf course, pines forests, and beautiful landscapes. No less than six golf courses are in the area. The atmosphere is one of sophistication and relaxation. There are several beaches near the Marina, and the beautiful Falésia beach is close by, with its stunning red sandy cliffs. A truly spectacular beach.

Vilamoura and have Quarteira an impressive range of top class Hotels, alongside excellent tourist class hotels. There is also an excellent selection of restaurants, night clubs and casinos.

Quarteira is the location for Aquashow Algarve, a spectacular water park.

A day trip to the Vilamoura Marina and a nice meal is delightful.

Armacao de Pera

Approx 5 miles from Albufeira

Armacao de Pera is a charming, laid back resort. In addition to a large beach, a great attraction is the quality of the seafood available from the restaurants dotted along the beach. Well worth a day trip to enjoy a leisurely  beachside lunch.
