ALBUFEIRA WEATHER

The proximity of Albufeira to Mediterranean Sea gives hot summers and mild winters. The Algarve does not have a great deal of rainfall, which in some years has resulted in water shortages. The region has an amazing amount of sunshine, more than 3,000 hours a year, and the highest of any resort in Europe. Compared to Southern Spain, where summer temperatures can be unbearable, Albufeira benefits from refreshing sea breezes.
January to April temperatures are between 15 and 20 degrees celsius maximum, with lows of 10 to 12 degrees.
May to October see temperatures increase to the 30's, with beautiful evening temperatures around 13-19 degrees.
November and December are still warm, with maximum temperatures approaching 20 degrees celsius, and minimums around 14.
